What the hell are you talking about?
You want a addon that speeds up your computer? The only way to fix this is to upgrade your computer, RAM/Harddrive/Graphics.

Nothing in LUA can trigger a .exe file (the launcher) from inside the game.
Your best bet is to get an addon like Carbonite or LightHeaded + TomTom to search for quest info in-game.
If you want to search for anything else, Wowhead is what you need.

ah i saw something about this a while back.
you use Valve's steam. its a bit complicated, you make steam load warcraft an then whatever button system you setup you can use to open mozilla over the game without having to go to windows.
i havent done it personally but search around, i definitley remember seeing it. not in a dream :P

I find it really annoying to always press windows to get back to my desktop, then wain till my computer refreshes so it actually reacts and then retutrning to the game too uses too much time...
You're running WoW in fullscreen. Switch it to windowed mode or even maximized windowed mode and you won't have the "screen switch lag" that you're talking about. You may experience a slight fps drop but it shouldn't be significant if you have a decent system.

The best game overlay around, hooks in the kernel level so it is a true overlay on the direct3d layer.
So: It works well and has many widgets other than browser, too.
