Honestly, i don't see how "Derführer" is offensive.
At least learn german before you ban people for having it in their names.

Well, you aren't allowed non-US characters, on US realms. I'm not sure about EU.

In EU you're allowed to have special characters in your name and you can get it changed to a normal one if you want.

Ok so yesterday I had to reinstall WoW on this computer because it was recently fixed. I reinstalled it and after the patchs and updates I went to log in. I put all my info and it said my account was suspended, I received no e-mail saying why. So I e-mailed Blizzard and just got an auto response. I'm still suspended and I can't find out why and still haven't gotten any new e-mail from them. Any advice?
Did you not receive
any
email, or just an email without a reason?
It's Blizzard standard practice to send emails when action is taken against an account, so this raises a lot of flags. At the very least you're entitled to notification. I would continue to call them.

Non-standard English characters are allowed on EU realms. However, "Derführer" violates the EULA/ToU in a number of ways:
It has a non-english character
Incorporates a title
Has "national connotations"
All of which are both prohibited by the EULA/ToU. It looks like the "national connotations" was what landed the 4-week suspension according to the
naming policy
.

I wish more names with non-English characters would get banned. I'm seeing them all over the place these days. Yea I guess it looks cool, but no one has fun typing that crap. So I guess if you don't want any friends in WoW and don't want to ever be contacted in tells then go for it! :-P
Anyways, that's kinda off the subject. I hope you find out what the problem is and get it fixed. Keep us updated. :-)

What do you mean non-US characters on US realms? Letters with accents on them? Or names in different languages? Either way that isn't right, the US does not have an official national language, many people don't speak english as their native language and want to pay homage to that in little ways they can such as naming a character something in different languages, sometimes those different languages call for using letters not found in the standard American English alphabet, so what, too bad.
