Good haste target for Holydin

Hi there, I am new to Paladin healing, and am curious, whats a good haste number to aim for when just entering heroics, then raiding. I know crit is pretty much as much as possible, but I can't find anything on a good amount of haste. Anything you can give me will be helpful, thanx in advance.

there is no set number, as haste comes with gear. Entry heroics you will find you have !@#$ all, but heroic gear is pretty loaded with it and then it starts to drop back a bit going into raids. So to answer your question whatever comes your way.

You get 15% haste from talents, Infusion of Light giving instant FoL's, and .5 second casting time reductions on every HL but the first one. For heroics/early raiding you don't really need much haste to speak of, and like slasher said, what you do need later will come naturally with gear.

Forgot to add this question as well, what haste rating is needed to reduce global cooldown to 1 second?

To reduce HL (2 sec cast) to 1 sec, you need 100% haste, 1% is 28.6 haste rating i think.

32.79 haste rating per 1%
And if you're casting HLs at 1 second self buffed you should really consider switching some haste gear for crit/int.
