Help in pushing DPS higher

hello ppl
i have a rouge friend that do a great dps in our raid (around 4k~6k dps depend on the boss fight) but i heared and read that u guys can push to amazing dps of up to 7k and even on some cases up 8k dps now that insain i must say :)
any way my question to u guys how can my friend push her dps up? she is Assassination spec is Combat better?
if u guys have any tips pls do share i really want to see my friend going up to a new lvl of dps :)

The only thing I can see room in improvement for would be changeing a few enchants and gems to agi/AP Ice walker +22agi to cloak because your friend is well over the poison hit cap. Swap the slower dagger to mainhand. Other than that Idk, and these changes may provide a small gain however its not going to boost you up 1/2k dps. keep in mind alot of rogues preform differently in different raid groups and these numbers you have heard may have been from a rogue in a stacked group on a certain boss.
