Yea you just throw earth shield on the MT/OT cuz you don't know who else to throw it on, then you go on party spamming

Is that the emalon fight... if so, then I think healing OT is harder then MT as the adds hit for less but there are more of them. I have troubles healing that one too. 2200sp 480mp5 and I have a really hard time... but with manatide totem and a mana pot you should be good for it...
You can do MT healing fine but other classes are just better then you at it. Your best spot is raid healing.

We're capable of being Tank healers but we're simply not the best (in my honest opinion anyways) as all we can really offer is increased armour and heals. I've been forced to be a tank healer (chain heal the raid whenever possible) for certain encounters like General Vezax or the new VoA boss. It's not a huge mana issue for me since Water Shield procs from HW crits and my HW crits usually hit the tank for around 18k if i recall correctly (and this was before I got my t7.5 4 set bonus). Also whenever I crit with HW someone in the raid will also get healed for 30% of the amount so that's like 23.4k for one HW crit.
Just remember that we get a buff called Tidal Waves that makes our HW pretty darn fast. I wouldn't go out of your way to cast chain heal or riptide on the tank just to get this haste buff though. If the tank is topped throw a chain heal to the raid. That way when the tank takes damage you'll have a 1.5ish sec HW cast for 2 casts. If you're tank healing then Healing Way will always be up.
If you only have 2 healers in your 10man ulduar group, expect to be a MT healer for the General Vezax encounter.
I'm usually the raid healer for every Hodir encounter but I'm sure I could pull off being the MT healer during frozen blows.
