Give me a reason why to keep engineering

So I'm playing resto druid, almost 100% pvp.. My professions are Mining/Engineering. I used to like engineering bcos of nitro boosts etc, but now they feel so useless and the whole profession is so nerfed. Should I just level something like LW or JC, or should I just wait and hope that blizz balances engineering? I guess thats never gonna happen tho >_>

If you like to reroll FotM much, do as you like, but always be ready to spend golds again if your current FotM prof is nerfed.
I honestly don't understand the question. If the prof is fun to you, keep it, if not, don't. Easy.
If one profession turns out to be OP, it will be nerfed sooner or later. Engineering turned out to be ridiculously OP in PvP (read: every serious PvP'er had it), so it got the bat. Jewelcrafting, the monster of them all due to having OP bonuses, goes the same way now.
Perhaps it's time to stick with something you like, rather than follow the whims of the game designers?
P.S. And engineering will be buffed back soon in some way. See

Not to be rude, but I think you listen too much to other people whining.
That might be true. I'll keep engi and hope they will add some new recipes in the future :) I hope they did nitro boosts enchant with +stats soon :p
