Ever look at a damage meter like Recount or Skada while you're grinding mobs? You should be spending that 25 energy on Expose if anything, not SnD.
If 2 mobs are close to each other it's better to use SnD on the 1st one and then you have the buff. Apply EA on the other one if you like.
