Maaaybe. Depends on how they feel about the whole "DK es teh new Huntard, rofl" concept.
Demonstrating your competence will (mostly) shut them up, though. Worked for me on my rogue and ret pally so far, and those classes had similar stereotypes going at the time I was leveling them.
Now if I could just get myself to stop trying to spam Sinister Strike and/or Judgement when I'm supposed to be Blood Striking... >.<
