your pet does not have the ability to wear +hit gear or +expertise gear. Therefore its attacks often miss a lot. With animal handler it will hit more and that = more dps.

You dont. Your pet is a melee though and even though he usually positions himself at the back of the creature he still gets Dodged a lot. Animal Handler reduces the amount of dodges.

You dont--but your pet does, for reasons mentioned above. Also, you dont need 5 points in Frenzy--it will overwrite itself. 4points and it will be up almost all the time, many bm hunters get by with 3 points. Take those 2 frenzy points, and the 1 point left of your remaining 3 (after you put 2pts in animal handler) and put them in improved arcane or improved tracking.
