[Story] The story of Malia, a fallen Druid
Return to board index
I love to Write and recently I've gotten an idea for a wow based story when i was playing my DK.
I'm currently not playing on a rp realm but when i play my chars i always roleplay. I'm posting a chapter per week on my own wow blog.
Anyway, this is my first wow based rp story and i hope you all like it :)
This story is about revenge and regrets, and how life doesn't stop at death. This story is about a Night elf girl named Melia.
Now I am no lore expert so bare with me ;)
Melia was born as a true Druid, never the best at shape shifting but powerful at calling upon the forced of nature to heal or create balance in the world. Her skin light blue with dark green hair hanging down her back, and eyes that sparkled enough to make it look like they could create life itself. Melia met the love of her live not long after her parents died at war.
She fell in love with Marcus the day he bought her roses and told her the world wouldn't shine if she wouldn't smile.
Melia and Marcus both joined the same war against the Horde and Scourge as her parents did.
Marcus a true warrior always found him self on the front lines, leading his fellow fighters to victory.
Melia on the other hand always stayed in the war camps, healing the wounded and keeping the camps safe from unwelcome guests. Unwelcome guests who thought a lonely female druid was a easy prey soon found themselves mistaken. One day when the camp was almost deserted Melia was one of the healers still there to take care of the wounded.
She was doing her morning round was she was walking around the big war tent to check on how the wounded where doing. Malia stood still in the middle of the tent as she tried to force her senses into picking up every little noise and detail. Slowly she walked to a bedside table of one of wounded and grabbed a sharp small knife that was used to cut bandages.
She waited 2 seconds, 2 seconds which she counted carefully before quickly turning and stabbing behind her. Her heart was beating in her chest and adrenaline was rushing trough her veins.
For a second she thought she was mistake and no one was there, but then she saw the blood on the tip of the knife. Her enemy had disappeared in the shadows, but the blood proved that he was real.
Again Malia stood up straight and forced her senses to pick up every little detail and noise when suddenly she got grabbed from behind. With a knife against her throught she struggled to get free again. Malia's eyes turned a bright glowing green as sharp thorns started to form around her body.
Her attacker jumped backwards as Malia fell to the ground, with her hands placed firmly upon the ground she begin to summon more thorns, this time around the feet of her attacker so he couldn't get away this time. When she turned around she saw what she already expected, An undead rogue, send to assassinate the healers of the war camp.
Undeads made Malia feel sick, they were not in blessing with nature. Something that died had to stay dead and Malia was more then willing to help that happening. Without hesitation Malia started to summon a ball of pure nature's power in between her hands and sended it straight for her attacker when he suddenly disappeared in the shadows again. But this time Malia knew exactly were he was, she also knew that she couldn't risk hitting the wounded going full force so malia run, as fast as she could she run outside the war tent and into the open.
As she expected she noticed her attacker followed her as she saw him moving in the corners of her eyes. Malia's eyes turned to a bright almost hellish white green when she called upon the forces of nature to help protect her. Small sparkling moon shards started to rain from the sky as 3 moving tree's started to grow from the ground around her. The shards forced the undead out of his cloak of shadows and out in the open.
Right when he started to rush towards her with blades ready to attack the 3 tree's around Malia started to move as they let out a load moan. Right before the attacker would cut Malia he got grabbed by the tree's as they started to pull him apart.
The Undead tried to escape from there grip but it was already to late as they pulled his limbs apart and threw him on the ground like a ragdoll. Malia stood there for what felt like an eternity, waiting for what came next. But nothing happened, her attack was dead.
As it stop raining shards and her guardian tree's returned to the ground Malia started to calm down again. Still out of breath and with her heart still beating hard in her chest she walked over to the Undeath. “You where one of us once, lets hope this time you do find peace” she said as she returned to the tent to check on the wounded. The few that were concious enough to realise what was happening were relieved that it was her who was returning.
A man came load screaming and blade drawn running toward Malia.
“where is he? I will protect you!” she shouted as she forced Malia to stand behind him.
She was amused by this small human covered in full body armor made out of the strongest plate.
A warrior from Stormwind who was send to the warcamp to protect the healers, in reality it was the healer who protected him. “he is already dead David” Malia explained to him when David gave her a puzzled look. She smiled to him as she said: “not all healers need protecting”
“we secured the rest of the camp, The rest of the healers are safe and we didnt find any other attackers” sad David as he reported to Malia.
“owh don't worry David, Rogues never work in teams, make yourself usefull and help me clean this bandages” Just as Malia went to sit down next to one of the wounded she noticed a second Stormwind warrior standing in the opening of the tent.
He seemed worried, and his worry made Malia suddenly very aware of her surroundings.
