How vital is first aid while leveling?

Simple question. How important is it to level first aid up with my new warrior?
All my other characters to date have been able to heal themselves then drink after a fight, so I actually never bothered leveling up first aid until I hit endgame. But where a warrior has no signifigent self heals...is first aid a invaluable leveling tool?

Food may be a little out of your way to skill up while you're leveling since it requires you to kill certain beasts from your recipe book but first aid is fairly easy as the mats drop off any undead or humanoid npc. If you're not blazing through levels using RAF then you should have no trouble getting enough mats to max out first aid while leveling.
As for when to use first aid, here's one good example: you pulled too many mobs and you need some health. AoE fear shout them then use first aid.

If one of ur toons is already maxed out...why even level it...have ur other toons make it for u.
if you plan to raid at all, you need first aid.
so might as well level it while you're leveling your toon since it takes almost no effort and helps with downtime.

I found first aid invaluable while leveling my warrior, and he's only level 20! Basically, it greatly reduces the downtime in between mobs, and regens health faster than eating.
