I was looking online and I sw the str gives cat 2 ap and not 1 like agi. I've been using the H VH feral staff for months and can't seen to win and upgrades as they drop. the Titansteel Destroyer would be an upgrade for me, and as my crit is well over 50% do you guys think I should make 1 for my cat?

The
Staff of Trickery
will provide you with 295 AP besides the 1834 FAP from its DPS. Also it provides a little more than 1% crit as well. The
Titansteel Destroyer
provides 267 AP besides the 1834 FAP from its DPS. Also the 54 hit rating can be easily found elsewhere. ~30 more AP and 1% crit turn the tables in favor of the staff the way I see it.
If you want some sort of upgrade, then you may try and obtain the
Staff of Feral Furies
(or the other faction equivalent, depending on your case). It will provide a hefty pile of crit. Remember one thing: as a pussy cat player,
you can never have enough crit! The more, the better.

I am surprised you got to level 80 thinking that
weapon damage
has anything to do with the damage druids deal in Bear / Cat form...
The only things that matter from a weapon are
the stats
(hit, expertise, AP, crit, haste, ArP)
and attributes
(strength, agility, stamina) on it, plus the Feral Attack Power
PROVIDED BY THE WEAPON'S DPS VALUE
. Keep this in mind. Both the Staff of Trickery and the Titansteel Destroyer
have the same DPS
in case you didn't notice, thus they both provide the same Feral Attack Power. Other than that,
WEAPON DAMAGE RANGE HAS NO INFLUENCE ON THE DAMAGE DRUIDS DEAL IN FORMS
.
The base 'weapon damage' druids have in forms is a
constant
value (currently believed to be 55) to which we add the bonus damage from Attack Power (7.14% from AP) and eventually multiply by any talent modifiers we may have - that gives the final 'weapon damage' we see on the character sheet in Cat Form. For instance, take

Screenshot. The 'Damage' we see there is 638-663. I'm going to work with the average value of 650. Let's see where does this come from.
Base Paw Damage = 55
Attack Power = 7512
Damage = (BPD + 0.0714*AP)*1.1 (the 10% multiplier comes from the Naturalist Talent)
Damage = (55 + 536.35)*1.1 = 650.49 ~ 650 (because the game engine always rounds down decimals).
I hope I made it clear enough.
Weapon Damage does not influence the damage that druids deal in forms.
Once again, I consider the Staff of Trickery or the one obtainable through daily Argent Champion quests to be superior to the Titansteel Destroyer.

Seriously... How can you go through 80 levels and not know what item is good for you, let alone what each stats affect either form you're in... Let me guess, your idea of fun is to join random "LF1M" groups and see how many wipes you can cause before they disband/uninvite you? Call me a jerk, a geek or whatever you feel like, but I'm not even done leveling my druid and I already know what drops/upgrades I'll get, in what order I'll get them, how I'll manage my gems and enchants to keep my cap-able stats capped, etc... And you... You don't know what stats affect your DPS on your weapon... I don't mean to disrespect you (beyond what you deserve for being an ebayer), but we simply don't play the same game and I truly hope I will not have to group with you in the near future.
Sorry about that, I had nothing better to do at work than this random rant. Nevermind me.

, and don't know/want to delve to much into the mechanics. So when they get to a point where they should know better, they try to get help or opinions.

I level boomkin and was asked by my guild to to go cat. My first time going into cat form was a week or 2 ago so I know next to nothing about the way cat works. But since I posted this i've been doing some reading and I see what you guys are talking about.
