Keep an eye out for hunger for blood, keep that up.
Do 4/5 cap envenoms when your slice and dice is below 12 seconds.
Keep Rupture up 5 cap.. only refresh rupture when your slice and dice is over 12 seconds.
Keeping those rules in mind helps me sustain about 4k dps in 25 man naxx gear.
Combat would be easier to play, but if you want to try mutilate go for it.

1. Open with garrote
2. HfB
3. 1 point SnD
4. Mutilate
5. Mutilate
6. 4 point Rupture
7. Mutilate, this should have you at either 2 or 3 combo points, Envenom or if you have the time, get a 4 or 5 Envenom in by mutilating again to reset SnD.
This is MY usual opening, it's very risky and not full proof, for example if you miss your envenom you will most likely lose SnD, and drop in dps slightly until you get it back. Cooldowns (Cold blood, or any other ones) should be incorporated depending on the boss fight.
For the rest of a fight, you will want to make sure your ruptures are 5 pointers, and these are up in order of importance - HfB (It's now a minute long, so you should be able to ALWAYS have rupture up and even possibly get 2 envenoms in inbetween ruptures) , Rupture , SnD (It should be reset by an envenom if you're using the correct build).
I'm too lazy to link the build, but I use your everyday 3.1 Mutilate PvE build and glyphs, just google that stuff.

After your initial opening ritual of ttot - garrote - hfb - mut - snd - mut - mut - rup - mut - mut - enven, you are not going to have a rotation. You are going to have a priority list, much like the shadow priest. In the current patch, your priorities are:
- snd (refreshed via envenom at 4 or 5 cp)
- rupture
- hfb
hfb is much easier to keep up nowadays, since it lasts alot longer and you only apply it once instead of three times if it falls off.
Remember to use an envenom cold blood at the beginning of a boss fight when you have 5cp and hfb up. Used at the beginning, sometimes you will get to use another at the end of the fight if your raid doesn't take him down in 3 min.
Do not use ambush. Do not use shiv.
Your glyphs are rupture/hfb/mut
Why no Ambush ?
Ambush = instant 3K damage, 2-3 CP, with crit can be up to 6K damage like i said above.
Garrote = 2.3 K damage over time, 1 CP, and no chance to crit.
Why no Shiv ?
Shiv = cheap CP generator just to start SnD, or make the damned 4CP you needed to envenom / rupture. And also 100% chance to apply DP.
Remove sinister strike on your AB. Its @#$%ing useless for muti rogues.
Use Cold Blood only if you need 3CP to get your 4/5 envenom or rupture.
A) No ambush because if you open with garrote you can immediatly pop HfB, which is +18% damage, obviously.
B) I think shiv is useful when you have, say, a four point rupture on the target and need one more point to override it, or need that last stack of DP/combo point to get 5 DP 5 CP envenom. But it should not be your main combo point builder, nor should it be used regularly.

Test it on dummy. In 4 secs your will deal more DPS vs Garrote - HfB - SnD
And this sentence becomes relevant when bossfights start lasting for 4 seconds.
