Need some help with my dps pls...

Ok so 1st something to me so you don`t wander why I fail so much on dps.My warrior was ment to be an alt but I want to make him my new main now.I begann this char only for fun and because I LOVE tanking.I lvled as prot from lvl 10 to 80.I can`t even remeber changing stance once to quest^^
My problem now is I bought dual specc to farm easier and becaus I like TG but I have no clue how to dps.I red the threads and some other posts and know the basic rotation but I still cant pull out some dmg.
So my question is what basicly what do I do when I have no rage spamm heroic strike untill something else is available or keep the rage for other attacks?
i`m sure my gear is an issue atm for rage because I have 220hit and 0expert but is this the only prob?

Heroic strike is a rage dump, you use it when you know you'll have rage to use your real attacks when they are up.
Ex:
WW will be available in 1 sec and you got 50 rage, you can use HS.
WW will be available in 1 sec and you got 10 rage, you don't.
