Heh I think that many re-comers to the game will be happy with the changes to most of the classes. I am personally very satisfied with the changes made to the Holy Spec AND the Disciplines spec.
Re: Emalon: Best strat is 3 pronged:
1) strong tank heals
2) DPS Reacts fast and kills the overcharge
3) Tanks position things properly.
That's about it... If those three things work out, it should be a 1 shot kill every time.

I myself just hit the mid-60s and am very happy with Disc healing as well. I get the occasional tank that adheres to the "Don't shield me, it hurts my tanking" no matter how low on health they're dropping and how much threat they already have, but all in all it's a wonderful asset.
Coupled with the amazing stat boosts, it's a refreshing new take on instance healing :D

This has been changed. Absorbs now count toward threat/rage/etc.

I happen to be a dedicated pve disc priest, even have a blog linked in my signature, and almost all of my posts are pve-disc related.
