That's basically me pve solo spec (changed a few things on hindsight). I've successfully solo'd up to up to Underbog / Slave Pens. Never tried anything after that. No trouble killing 5-6 elites in those instances. I can easily wipe every enemy within range to keep them from evading if they're non-elite.
My armory is up to date and you can see I'm not the most geared person.

The benefit of Deep Affliction is that you can heal yourself through any damage you may suffer via Glyph of Siphon Life (which becomes obsolete should you start raiding). You start with a Haunt, CoA and Corruption on a single target, then proceed to the next with CoA and Corruption and refresh Haunt on your currently targeted mob should it drop.
If your spellpower is sufficient, you can take out an entire spawn zone by yourself and end up with 100% health and mana. Starting 70 I used the Felhunter as a pet for the buff he provides, but it's more of a personal choice with this procedure since the majority of the damage will be done by yourself, and mobs don't have time to pick up on the VW threat before they're dead.
