Lava Lash: Requires and offhand, so you won't be able to use that.
Stormstrike: Instantly attacks with
both
weapons, I don't know if it will work with a 2h.
Maelstorm Weapons will have a reduced effect since you hit faster with 2x 1H than one 2H - and the more you hit, the higher is the chance of getting the buff.
I would not do it if I were you.

A pair of 1handed weapons are always better, doesn't matter if you're doing PvE or PvP you will have more damage output. And malestrom will not really be affected since it will proc "more often" since u have a slower weapon. And windfury DOES work even though it sais
both
weapons.

Only thing a two hander is good for is seeing bigg numbers. The funny thing is that DPS is really low and most healers will just out heal your damage by a long shot.

Due to the windfury nerf, Duelwielding is just plain better for both PvP and PvE. You get lava lash, a fire attack that ignores armor, and will proc additional MW stacks. Still, I kinda miss the old days in BC when I three shot plate wearers with my trusty hammer of the Naaru. Better to not dwell on it, lest I go back to the old, old days of OMFG frostshawk.
