Hey Wowhead forums,
I've currently just retired from my 80 Horde Hunter to reroll to my friends server, although I already have a 70 Warlock, I don't enjoy playing him that much anymore..
First I thought, why won't I just reroll a hunter, I already have a good grip on its abilities and know the class quite well, but after getting him to around 30 I just cannot take leveling a hunter to 80 again.. then I thought, hey this would be a perfect time to reroll a new class and learn some new things!
So my intentions are end game raiding as DPS and PvP (Not really arenas), and some classes that popped in my head were;
Warrior, Shaman, Mage.. or anything really, feel free to make a suggestion.
So if you guys could share your experiences with each of these classes and how they are to play (Difficulty) and Fun Factor that would be DEEPLY appreciated. =)
Thank you for your time. <33

Hi, I'm a level 80 Druid, and I absolutely love the class.
I can heal superbly both in PvP and PvE, and in PvE, my DPS amongst the very top as a Feral kitty-cat. Tanking is quite simple as a bear-druid, and everybody knows the Boomkin, master of BOOMs.

I play a hunter and I find playing my Rogue a blast. You do kill things rather quickly, (though you die alot in the beginning - I know I did.) Leveling isn't that boring, and it's all worth it at 80 when you're destroying the dps charts. Not to mention endgame daggers are spectacularly sexy.

Want a TL;DR version?
Mage
PRO: intense power. My 80 puts out nice big 5-digit crits, and can down just about anything in a matter of seconds.
CON: squishiness. A couple hits is all it takes to drop a cloth wearer.
Fun Factor: Instant cast pyroblasts, watching enemies crumple before ever managing to close to melee range . . . good times.
Leveling difficulty: 7/10
Paladin
PRO: can fit any class, and do it quite well. Also, they survive anything. Elites? Sure! Solo an instance? Why not!
CON: if Horde, you're forced to go Blood Elf. They also don't have the HoTs of priests or druids, and kills can be slow if prot or holy specced. Very slow if holy specced.
Fun Factor: Watching that final boss of a 5-man instance fall to you. That's right, just you. No sharing loot!
Leveling difficulty: 2/10 (seriously, they're great)
Warrior
PRO: RAAAGE! And they can provide a nice balance of meatshield and high-damage kill abilities.
CON: They're like a pally but they can't heal. There are countless times when I've wanted to heal myself up, and found myself switching over to my pally . . . this also lowers their survivability.
Fun Factor: As arms or fury, you can deal out huge amounts of damage in the right place. Whirlwind in a group of enemies, either NPC or in PvP, is always good for laughs as you watch the numbers rise and the bodies drop.
Leveling difficulty: 6/10 (it gets slow after a while)
Shaman
PRO: Flexibility again! Great healers, good DPS, and can off-tank fairly well at lower levels (not in raids, of course). You can pick your playstyle, and they're very customizable.
CON: You're never quite as good as others; you're jack-of-all-trades, master of none. But experienced players can still perform all roles well on them.
Fun Factor: Bloodlust! And any instance or raid group will adore you for it.
Leveling difficulty: I haven't leveled one myself, but I've heard that it's not hard. 3/10 tentative here.
Hope this helps get you started!
