Anyone have any tips on raising latency?
I currently run with like 250 ms average and I have always played a ranged dps so latency is never really a problem. So I want to try out a melee class and It seems that you need (Correct me if I'm wrong) roughly 150 ms at least to get timing correct on your moves. Any tips will be appreciated.

Little error on your part there.
And not much stuff that can really help I know us, just some basic stuff.
1. Delete any programs you don't use on your computer.
2. Try to make WoW the only open program.
And I don't see why melee needs lower latency.

Be aware that just because a server may use the same time zone you're in does NOT mean it's closer to you. I know there's a site online somewhere that lists the physical location of each server, but I'll be darned if I can find it at the moment. I hope someone here can provide a link to a list.
What I'm pointing out is that it's entirely possible that a server that uses the Pacific time zone for its server time might actually be physically located in the Eastern time zone. Likewise, a server that uses the Eastern time zone for its server time might be physically located in the Pacific time zone. If you live in the Eastern time zone, you would get lower latency on the server set to Pacific time.
