3% mitigation VS. 2k health...?

31.5.k unbuffed with 25% dodge and 21% parry...
or
33.5k unbuffed with 25.6% dodge and 17.6% parry....
every forum i go in to find which is better for current raiding situations just argue over it... anyone have a solid answer... opinions please.... which would you go with as a frost DK

1st: That is avoidance, not mitigation. Mitigation reduces damage, avoidance negates damage.
2nd: Depends greatly on the fight. On heavy magic damage fights, you're going to want the greater HP, but on heavy physical damage fights you're going to want the extra avoidance.

Furthermore, the first setup would also do better on single target, physical attack bosses. The increased parry means you're hitting the target more with auto-attacks (from parry-haste), which leads to more threat. It's not a huge difference (probably not enough to make/break the decision), but it's there.

that's a bit short sided. one is great for eh set, other for avoidance set provided you don't need the defense.
2nd the same differences can occur simply by swapping from 2 health trinkets to 2 avoidance trinkets.
