Yogg-Saron the REAL final boss of Ulduar?

- Yes all achivements and such point to him as the final boss, but maybe thats only because a possible
real final boss
was too hard to beat?
- I'd like to see your thoughts on the matter, was Yogg-saron Blizzard's intended boss for Ulduar? Or was Algalon?

The relationship between Algalon and Yogg-Saron in Ulduar (besides the rhyming of the names) is similar to the one between
Prince Malchezaar
and
Nightbane
in Karazhan. Both of them are strong enough to be considered last boss, but since one is optional, you can't really tell...
To counter your achievement point - defeating Algalon awards title, and access to him is granted only through defeating 5 hard modes. Something you don't need for Yogg-Saron.

In terms of threat, Algalon is far more dangerous to the safety of Azeroth than Yoggie. However, in terms of intent, Algalon is not malicious, but rather simply a being of cold logic. Yogg-Saron on the other hand has true evil intents.

Yea, apparently he got his hands on a
Martin Fury
.
No, I don't think so. All The Martin Set do that, but it is an instant kill, doesen't do damage.

I've been in a raiding guild for a month or so now. They started Ulduar 10 man about 2, 3 weeks back.
No word on Algalon.

Algalon is the Malygos of tier 8 raiding.
That is all.
(Well, actually, he is much harder than that).
