Dps wep main dk tanking

Ok ive been thinking about my previous post about Dual wield tanking talents, alot of people end up talking about the lower proc chance on Killing machine while dual wielding due to the faster weapons. Id like to know if its feasable for a dk tank to use a tanking weapon off hand which fast usually and a dps weapon that is slow say 2.6 wep speed, this will help for single target tanking as well as give more killing machine procs when it hits.

Killing Machine will always proc 6 times a minute, no matter how fast your weapon. A faster weapon just means a smaller % of overall hits proc it.
