The thing is you are willingly walking on thin ice. It's our built in "oh snap" button... er, talent.
It IS possible to never need it, however of trash pulls (which is 99% of heroics and most of raids), if the healer for whatever reason can't keep you up, AD could be a life saver.
If you out gear (not just in epics, but like raid epics) and your healers are also well geared it shouldn't be an issue. Yes you'll have more threat.
However, I submit this. Take the points OUT of Divinity, and use those 5 points more wisely. With those 5 points you can get Divine Sacrifice, AD, (maybe some reckoning, Divine Guardian or Imp HoJ... your pick). Since your a tank, you wont be healing anyone. And the heals on your are either effective heals or over heals. The better gear you have the more over heal it is. Thus... your spending 5 points on heals that probably wont matter.
(And consider this... Imp. Devo Aura is 3pts for 6%. Divinity is 5pts for 5%.)
