"problems" with vista and wow installation
Return to board index
So, i recently bought a new computer (about time, the iphone was running wow better than my old one), and i started installing and patching wow.
Since its my first time with vista, im not too familiar with it, but browsing the folders i found the wow folder, and it looked like this:
As you can see, all the files end in .temp, and almost all the files have some copy with random numbers.
I know that temp means temporary files, right? But after instaling vanilla+tbc, the .temp stayed there, and i bet this new ones will too.
Any problem if i just keep the folder like this? I noticed print screen didn't created a Screenshot folder.
Any chances of everything exploding if i delete this files with random numbers, and rename the .temp ones?
Thx, and sorry about the &*!@ty english.
no one? i really need help
In Vista the game is installed at C:/users/public/games, is this the folder you were in?
no, it was the one inside the my computer icon. don't remember the name in english, Program files i think.
i tried to put some addons in the interface.temp, inside program files, but the addon button didn't showed up at char screen...
geez, it will be a long time till i know how vista works :/
