I need some advice, planning on leveling with a friend.
Return to board index
Alright, my IRL friend and myself just started our summer break from college and are planning on leveling characters from level 1.
Now, I have four 80's already, so i'm very used to the game. He is farely new, having only leveled a Rogue to 30 before quitting to focus on college.
This post isn't one of those constant/annoying threads that say, "which class should I play, since I have no personality and cannot think for myself."
This post is a, 'which class would be best to level along side a ret paladin?'
That's right, he plans on making a Blood Elf Paladin and i'm planning on either making a Blood Elf Rogue, (I really don't want another blood elf, i've already got an 80 BE Paladin, but oh well) or a Blood Elf Priest. I've leveled both classes to 20 in the past, but never with a friend.
So, this question is legit in my opinion. Since it actually has an answer that isn't based on what I enjoy more.
Which would be a better leveling partner for a Paladin?
Priest or Rogue?
I think i'm leaning more towards Priest, because we'd both be able to heal/bubble, which would help a lot. And priest have a lot of CC/Kiting moves, which would help if we pulled large groups of mobs, but i'm really not too sure. Being able to hide and attack people from behind has always interested me, i'd just never want to level a rogue solo. Leveing a Warrior solo wasn't much fun, no heals, I think it'd be the same with a rogue.

Take the priest, so you can heal your friend the Paladin.
