Dunno BEST really. For pure healing power I'm not sure anything really beats a holy priest, but a druid surely isn't going to be far behind, that's for sure, and the druid's heal over time strategy is superior in some cases, in that it makes the target's health level less "spiky".

Basically, they're simply very different. Heck, disco priest is quite different from holy priest, so basically it's just (big) differences in flavor, really.

Priest has shield and hymns, druid has battle-ress and innervate and so on, so there's a few unique abilities to either class. Priest can buff stamina and spirit by a lot each; druid buffs a lot of stats and armor by not quite as much, and so on. You're just going to have to decide yourself which class you like more. :) Check out their spell lists, go over their talent trees. Also, the PTR is up now I hear, copy over a premade of each class and kit them out, then go experiment!

It's worth noting that dual-speccing a druid tree to moonkin is quite effective for grinding and dungeonrunning, I'm pulling 2100-2200dps using heroic blues and epics with just spellpower and spirit on them, not a single crit piece anywhere. :) My priest isn't quite there yet; she's still only 76, but shadowspec works fine with spirit cloth gear as well of course.
