FG/Ember is known as the "Glass Cannon"; its NOT a PvP Spec. For PvP, you need to spec around survival...
For affliction, I recommend a variation of this:
Affliction
For Destruction, a variation of this:
Destro
The basic idea is to spec around "control". If you can "control" a situation, you can survive. The first aspect of control is survival. If you can't survive the INEVITABLE burst by a Paladin/Death Knight/Rogue or Druid, you won't be able to kill them. In order to survive, we use two stats: Resilience and Stamina. Resil reduces the amount of damage taken from crits, DoTs and mana drains (and also reduces your chance to be crit); stamina gives you more room to absorb the damage you can't avoid.
Some good info on Resilience
At level 80, you need ~600 Resil to start noticing a difference. While it might seem daunting at first, all you need to do is buy the
Savage Gladiator
set. You can get it from the Emblem of Heroism Vendor in Dalaran. I also recommend doing Wintergrasp; the gear you can get from there is about equal the the Hateful Gladiator set.
Even with no resilience, you should be grinding honor in Battlegrounds. While it can be hard to do anything due to low survival, a BG is always worth honor. I recommend Eye of the Storm, Alterac Valley and Arathi Basin. On EotS and AB, there is alot of concentrated killing (ie easy honor). On Alterac Valley, you get a ton of honor whenever your team does something significant (burns a tower, captures a graveyard, etc). Strand of the Ancients can also be an easy honor place if your team is good at defending (Slaughter at the Yellow Moon).
Everyone starts off somewhere, and I know how hard it is to survive wearing PvE Gear... Just keep at it, and you will see improvement in no time =)
PS: First thing you should buy with honor:
Medallion of the Horde

Personally, as full aff pvp spec'd, I'd go with these talents in Destro and Demo
here.
Careful micro managing should keep your felpuppy alive, and 6% less damage is a definite nice thing to have (and is superior to +9% armor and extra healing imo).

The best way to learn to PvP is to watch videos of other high rated Warlocks and to talk to them directly. Analyze what they are doing in specific situations and try to copy that behaviour.
Also, pick your arena parntners carefully. Some combinations work better than others.

You can't really have a "rotation" in PvP as much because you need to adapt to what the opponent(s) do.
As far as specs, with the nerf to Conflagrate i'm preferring Affliction at the moment (currently specc'd
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#IzxMrurhkVVMIktbG0hooZVc
and run 2's with a Resto Shaman).
I'm also in the process of updating the PvP Warlock Guide but don't want to post it up until all the nerfs/buffs that are going on are properly complete.)

When I was getting toward 70 and didn't really have much gear, me and a paladin friend (similar situation, no gear, etc...) always did BGs together that way we had a bit more survivability knowing that at least we could work together.
If you can find a good person to play with, that always helps.
I always tried to stay a good bit away from the action, usually on top of something, where melee had a hard time getting to me or behind the front lines.
DoT everything you see. Also, Seed of Corruption works wonders with large groups fighting all bunched up. Try to avoid 1 on 1 fights if possible unless they're lower level.
OH! And FEAR FEAR FEAR FEAR. I always loved going back to the base in AV and Howl of Terror everyone killing the final guy.

Hi, I'm pretty new to lvl 80 warlock but I've almost filled out the superior achivement, I was hoping I could get some pointers.
The thing is that I really love pvp but I hate the fact that I hardly do any damage with my shadow bolt or immo--incinerate.
I'm FG/Ember spec and Affl/Ruin. (depends on the mood I'm in)
I've been reading the stickies and I can't find any decent build and rotation for pvp.
I don't have a decent gear and I was just wondering if there is any hope for me if I don't get into raids, like ever so I can't get any epic drops.
I was wondering if my last option is just to go with it and die every so often and try to get 40k honor for one piece of armor to increase my stats or do I just have to keep looking for raids.
btw, I don't do arenas.
And PLEASE no CoD, CoA, CC etc, I have no idea what any of that stands for so there's no point in replying if you can't just write the words.
Thanks for all the help.

learn your class noob, btw they are called acroynms , they actually stand for something your 80 and you dont know what COA stands for or CC... might as well just tell me you dont have a brain and you cant read for that reason. my point is for you to quite being lazy asking us to hand you info on a silver platter. play they game, test the game learn your class.
My "numbers in Usernames" theory remains flawless.

numbers in the name... you called it kobrakai :P
Just thought I'd add make sure you do vault each week.
I've been doing vault each week for the PVE drops, and between that and spending some spare valor tokens on pvp gear I started pvp 3 weeks ago with a full set (even some furious :P). Maks a huge difference.

I ran with this spec for BG's for a while it really kinda fun to have the Guard destroying a rogue while your just running around nailing him with searing pain I also would suggest get the glyph of searing pain, soul link, and felguard for this build very good for bg's as arena I run
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#IbxMrurAkVVMhkt0Gbhkhb
deep aff I try and control my pup but Im still not good at that very good build if you can survive the first 15 secs of a burst team. You can also take care of healers very well I run with a resto druid for 2v2 and we are ok we are both still learning how to play with each other
