Enhancement Weapon Choice

Offhand I have the following two weapons to choose from,

and

Which one should I take for off hand enhancement? I have been wearing the Ripper for testing and I'm not seeing any clear number difference at the moment but am being told by a number of people that the slow speed of the first + windfury will end up outputting more DPS over the stats of the second ? Or should I go with the faster weapon and still use windfury?
It's my off spec so I don't get to use it in many raids to see the difference.
