3.1 put a major nerf on all pets. so now they r picking on hunters. we lost a lot of dps. but your wolf should have furious howl ( something like that) which increase att pwr. n where did u put your talents on?

Wolves have the spell Furious Howl, and when combined with the talent Call of the Wild, wolves actually make one of the best raiding pets. They both give great benefits to you.

They can use the talent Rabid too, which can help their DPS too.

I'm kinda wondering why you thought wolf lost its DPS. Most Hunters I've been raiding with all use Wolves as their choice of raiding pet.

Wolves have the Furious Howl buff. It applies to both hunter and pet and raises AP by 320 for 20 sec with a 40-sec cooldown.

This means it's up half the time, so it's roughly equal to +160 AP on you. Think of it this way: instead doing all of its DPS by itself, the wolf contributes by increasing your personal DPS.

So usually a wolf will do slightly less damage than a cat (as far as I've seen), but with the buff you come out ahead.

Plus, on pet-unfriendly fights you can put him on passive and get the buff anyway.
