Hello there boys and girls, I'm here today to share with you the what I consider to be the best way to get gold relatively fast at level 80 using your rogueish skills.
There are 2 methods: Pickpocket Farming, and Vrykul Farming. Fortunately, both methods can be accomplished using the exact same multi-purpose
farming/ganking/pvp spec. The method you choose at any given time, depends entirely on your preference, and the Auction House prices of
Relics of Ulduar and
Runic Healing Potions. If a stack of 5 Runic Healing Potions are 20 gold or more, you will go Pickpocket farming. If a stack of 10 Relic of Ulduars are 30 gold or more, go Vrykul farming. If neither or both are the case, do whatever you want.
Pickpocket Farming:You will be doing this at the Avalanche in
Sholazar Basin. There are a
great deal of undead walking around on the snow covered hills there. All (except the large bosses) are pickpocketable. In an average circuit (from the northwest bottom of the avalanche, up, around, and down to the south side of the avalanche) you will receive upwards of 20 gold from pickpockets, 20-ish
Reinforced Junkboxes, at least a stack of Runic Healing Potions, some food, and junk. Each circuit should take no longer than 15 minutes.
From the Junkboxes, you get more silver, more Runic Healing Potions, poisons, junk, and the possibility of receiving some rare drops including any of the rare uncut gems (twilight opal, etc) and 3 possiblie BoE Epics.

Here is a very useful macro to auto-target the mob in front of you and pickpocket them:

Vrykul Farming:Vrykul Farming is for getting Relics of Ulduar. You are going to go to the Mine near Brunnhildar Village in
Storm Peaks where all the Captive and Exhauted Vrykul are working. These Vrykul are all neutral to you, so don't worry about aggroing lots when you kill them.
First, you pickpocket them, then you kill them, then you take their stuff. Simple as that. You should be getting at least 60 Relics of Ulduar an hour. Your killing rotation should be: Ambush, Eviscerate, Mutilate, Eviscerate... Or Ambush, Kidney Shot, Mutilate, Eviscerate. Whatever you like.
Be careful though. There are sometimes some people in there with the same idea as you. Kill them swiftly and silently, and then get ready for a fun ganking fight.

There is a MUCH better place to pickpocket farm imo (where it's rumored that you can pick each mob 3-4 times) if you dig around a bit you will find it, however I dont want to share it here with every Harry, @#$%, and Tom.
