I think that there is a problem with how players are viewing the new end game raiding content in Wrath. Fact is that the majority of the player base is used to only having one way of completing a boss and that is it. What Blizzard has done in the new expansion is change up the mix on us and I think a lot of us are still adjusting. The reality is that
hard mode is the future
.
Bosses aren't designed anymore to be soul-crushingly difficult by
default
. And to be frank, it's a good thing.
If you're having a problem with it, think about it this way.
Blizzard did not add a hard mode, Blizzard added an easy mode
. When you think about it this way, it makes a lot more sense.
I'll try to put it in another term
OS, Naxx, Malygos: Easy Mode
Ulduar: Normal Mode
3D Sarth, Ulduar Hard: Heroic Mode
Algalon: Legendary Mode

I think a lot of people are having a hard time seeing straight with the new content. They've got the blinders on backwards or something.
Blizzard has enough data to nerf these and that is why they are doing it. The people who complain are doing it on normal mode and can't be bothered to try hard mode.
I've seen things on WoW Insider like "hard mode is just a cheap cop-out". The same people that say that usually say they quit WoW. They never even tried it. There are others who claim Ulduar is too easy after the nerfs because they could do it before the nerfs. Those same people say the exact same thing to anyone who says "then try hard mode".
People just want to have the whole raid be an exclusive club and not deal with PUGs or anything. The problem with their reasoning is that they don't have to PUG or raid with anyone that they don't want to.
This will allow a lot of people to learn raiding instead of being told "join a raiding guild and learn" only to find that the guild doesn't want to teach. That is the problem. People complain about others being poor raiders, but they don't want to teach them and don't want them in raids at all in PUG so they will never learn.
There is also the argument that they "changed" the design goal of raids recently when the developer posts imply that "letting all players have a chance to experience and complete content" has been the goal all along. The developers imply, if not outright admit, that the old raids were poorly designed and thus a mistake.
Also, they are not going to wait to nerf it if they have good data because later people will complain more. They had data from the PTR, but that was the high end players who actually bother with the PTR. They didn't get a representative collection of data of the entire population until it was live for a while.
If the elitist want their exclusive content they can go to Algalon. I think they should stop complaining about Ulduar until they have 10-man or 25-man on farm and are clearing most of hard mode too. They can then complain about hard mode being too easy once they get that on farm. The developers will happily make hard mode more difficult if the majority are beating it easy.
This. This is just epic win.

maybe its just me but if you have decent gear no matter what it is, and have a good spec and know how to play, it is not hard to find a guild, i remember raiding in full pvp gear on my aff warlock and was one of the top dps in kara and everyone else had raiding gear... look on forums for guild recruiters, make friends join a low end gear and learn how to do basic raids, build up some decent gear and join another better guild, its not that hard tbh from my experiences anyways
