I would suggest Elemental until you routinely clear naxxrammas. Kel'Thuzad becomes much much more difficult if you have melee people (just like Prince Malchezzar was). I always seem to see "need ranged dps for KT"

Yep, on KT fights Banshee > Melee. :p Ranged make downing Banshees and Skeles so much easier.
Just be sure not to kill the person who gets MC'd, as they won't be able to continue fighting unless there's either a druid (who hasn't already used b-rez within 20 minutes) or they're a shaman w/ reincarnation ready. Last 25 naxx I did, I got MC'd and got killed by people in my raid.. Good thing I had reincarnation ready to pop. Just hex them, and continue with pwning KT.

To address your question, there really isn't a particular need for enhancement or elemental shamans. There are plenty. All you have to do is pick whichever one you either a) have more fun, or if thats equal, b) which does more dps.
As with gear, tier shares with Hunters and Warriors, so no help there. You have to share gear with Hunters if you're enhancement (armor wise), but as elemental, it pretty much goes to you. Weapons for elemental share with other classes, like druids with Wraith Strike, but for weapons as enhancement, you have a pretty big 'dibs' on most fists. Competition is like, rogues, but especially for slow offhands, it'll go to the enh shammy.

should i be ele or enh at lvl 80? going pve! loves both play stiles(and i know they both makes nice dmg and dps)... but just heard that there like zero enh shammys in pve... so i could get good weapons fast and gear 2.... plz help me

As enhance you are sharing items with the following classes: Rogues, Warriors, Death Knights, Hunters, Paladins, Druids, and in some rare cases (spellpower etc trinkets) even Priests, Mages, Warlocks.
The only items 100% exclusive for enhance are
mail items with expertise on it
. As you can see there is only 1 level 80 epic with expertise that isn't a class set item.
So if you pick enhance just for that, you'll notice that at least 6 other classes will roll on everything you need as well. Worst things are rings and trinkets.
For Ele gear "only" paladins, druids, priests, mages and warlocks will roll on your gear. And all mail gear with caster stats is usually exclusive, i never had a paladin roll on ele parts at least.
Anyways in both cases you're screwed, there's always someone else who needs your stuff just as much as you do.

As elemental you can use some generic mail+spell or resto items (
Titansteel Guardian
,
Revenant's Breastplate
,
Revenant's Treads
) until you get +hit gear and save those for dual spec.

Well I play enhance but I think a lot of people prefer ranged DPS when making up numbers in a group, so if you're in a guild you may want to check if there will still be spots for you as melee. Sharing wise we only really share with hunters as enhancement, I have gained a full naxx set of off spec enhancement whilst healing, because my guild's 10 man doesn't have a hunter so I'm the only one who can use it. I've even got some off spec stuff from ulduar this way already which I wouldn't have done as elemental as we have an elemental / resto shaman in the 10 man. I've never yet been asked to use my offspec for DPS though as above and beyond my guild always needs good healers so I mostly use it for farming quickly.
