Why is everyone crying about marksman?

Here is my armory,

, i'm marksman and i consistently top damage meters in 10s and i'm usually top 5 in 25s. I'm almost always beating or VERY close to other hunters (who are survival) and i provide trueshot aura which is sometimes rare to find.
I love marksman, how bout you?

And as always I'll say that DPS is NOT everything (awaits flame) - personally I think that during a raid that damage done overall is far more important - DPS doesnt drop a boss, damage does.
Dps is proportional to overall damage done, unless someone gets into fight faster than someone else (eg. starts shooting faster).

Marks is very competitive DPS with Survival now. I find myself neck and neck with other SV Hunters, and just as often put out higher DPS as they do over me. I'm quite happy with the state of Marks these days.

TBH, MM is very close to surv...most of the time it will come down to gear and skill. I can out do many surv hunters that have equal or slightly better gear than me. But if you come across one that is just as skilled/geared. Be prepared not to get first.
