Just a speculation, but does it happen whenever you use Elemental Mastery? If the server pops the message up everytime the spells become instant instead of when you have 5 stacks of the buff, it could display if you were Ele.

I seem to get this whenever I get a bleed debuff when I am in my Elemental spec. I don't know if it is all bleeds or just specific ones but I always get one whenever this message pops up. I haven't played my Resto spec much since 3.1 but I am guessing I would get this on that spec as well.

I also get this bug, I think it's through SCT, as an ele shaman and yes it only appears when I acquire a bleed affect on me.

Ok I am elemental and i've noticed two things about "Maelstrom Ready" When i get attacked and the attack applies a bleed effect it appears but i also think that it could be something to do with Elemental Mastery/Natures Swiftness becoming available

I use SCT and I get the Maelstrom message too. Not sure if there's something I can turn off in SCT or what it's even in reference to.
At first I thought I had some ability I hadn't looked at so I was a bit puzzled. Now I just ignore it, but if there's a way to remove the message that'd be great.

I've been getting this message pop up sometimes, too, and I'm resto. I assumed it was a bug.
