I just found just about the most disturbing fact ever
there are 3 times as many shelters for animals
then there are for beaten and abused women and children
You're right. Totally nothing to do whatsoever with the original post.
Except the post is talking about the lack of shelters for OUR SPECIES compared to OTHER SPECIES.
It is not good for a person to care more about ANOTHER SPECIES than THEIR OWN SPECIES.
That is a much broader version of the tribe or herd mentality, which is "my herd/tribe comes before animals/people from another herd/tribe." And nature created that mentality.
Quit moaning about other species and worry about your own.
I never said I care more about animals than my own species. But why the hell would you not care about them at all?
I see animals and humans as equals. We're both living things, we have hearts,minds, emotions.

So if they're being cut or got injured they don't feel pain? They never get sad?
If you give a dog a squeaky toy its not playful/happy?
If you tease an animal or toy with it, it doesn't get upset or angry?
If you rub a dog's belly it doesn't get comforted or enlightened?
If a kitten is cornered by a group of dobermans its not scared at all?

Thats iffy at best for both sides.
The closest thing they have to emotions is attachment and a feeling of lose.
you're dog loves you because you are in charge of the food, you are the alpa fe/male
and if you were to move or whatever, they would feel at a lose for their lack o' food
I can go through my pysch book and get every last study on this but, thats a pain

I think I said its iffy, grey, a toss up, not a total fact, up to debate, not 100%correct
Please give me a link to where you found out these factual studies by scientists about how animals have no emotions.
