Because you made an assumption about my post that wasn't true.
No I didn't, they are spelled the same.
I did not add anything, I only explicated.
You made clear? So you admit there was room for ambiguity?

Bush and bush are not spelled the same.
Bush always is capitalized, bush is not always capitalized.

"Whether there is indication
or not has no effect on what it is in fact referencing."
You misinterpreted, I corrected.
PS, Almost done grading papers. Then I'm off.

Stop it with the popcorn, guys >:(
Bush always is capitalized, bush is not always capitalized.
But, in your original sentence, if "bush" was the first word, it would be capitalized and the sentence would appear to be the same.
indication
Uh ambiguity and indication are pretty much exact opposites so I don't really see what you're doing here.

Nope then both Bush's would be capitalized.

You do see the "or not" there, right? Maybe I'm seeing things.

No, then you would have what I originally thought your post was doing.

Yes, I don't see what that has to do with it? I'm not arguing about your intention, I'm arguing about how it's actually read, and in how it's actually read, ambiguity and
revealed
intention play a pretty big role.

Uh what?
"Bush (a tree) and Bush (the dude)..."
They both look capitalized to me.

Because you state that you did not see what I was doing because ambiguity and indication were opposites. However, since the "or not" was already there, then inserting an "opposite" is perfectly fine.
If you're going to make petty points, at least make an attempt to defend them.
I'm not arguing about your intention, I'm arguing about how it's actually read, and in how it's actually read, ambiguity and revealed intention play a pretty big role.
I've said it several times already, several different ways....
How it's read/whether you get it or not/whether it's legible/whatever has not bearing on the actual meaning.

Uh what?
"Bush (a tree) and Bush (the dude)..."
They both look capitalized to me.
Here let me explain by the medium of my previous internal narration.
"
Oh look, he's posted that "Bush(the foliage) is the same as bush(the foliage)"! Hahah! He's pointing out the obvious in a humorous manner, that crazy HSR!
"
"
I know what I'll do, I shall ride his coattails by pointing out the obvious after him! It won't be as funny, but a post is a post!
"
*next few posts between us*
"
Hmmmmm..
"
*2 hours later*
"
Urghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahhhhha
"

It's a pity I'm not talking about that then!
