I am thinking... "Power Word: Death", instantly kills the target, no matter faction. (It's not Shadow Word: Death, okey?)
I also want... "Circle of Feeling", makes everyone dance, much like

What about... "Rage Burn" and "Energy Burn", yeah, the warriors and rogues would love that.
Also thinking about "Feedback", how it can become "Speedhack", but I have some more work to do on that one.
-"Inner Explosion", the priest explodes, taking with him/her everyone within 30yards.
-"Shadowfriend", makes your friendly target look cool in a shadowform.
-"Shackle Humanoid", yeah, you want it, don't you?
-"Lighthell", click it, and get a debuff that drains your health!
-"Power Infusion" now works at enemies, but with the opposite effect, lowering their spell damage and healing by 20%.
-"Pain Releasing", like "Pain Suppression" but now it works on enemies, with the opposite effect.
-"Mass Resurrection", yes please.
-The abillity to "Stack heals", you can heal your target for 8000, which will be saved as a buffet on that target, kinda like having 8000 more health.
-"Mind Fission", splits the nucleus of an atom in the brain, and creates a small nuclear explosion in the enemies brain, which of course will kill them, after 1d, 20min and 50secs (this is not a dispellable debuff, and it persists through death)

This gave me a good idea.
A Holy talent that would take our Overheals and take the amount thats Overhealed into a heal over time
Tank is -2000 and you heal him for 3500 the 1500 extra gets put into a Heal over time that will last X seconds.
as much as i love this idea (and i do truly love it), it would be pushing to much on priest hots, hots are a druids thing. i rolled a preist to be different and to have a major roll in the group because im good, not because of my class. let the druids have the hots, i'll take skill over easy mode.

Celly, you know that neither Paladins or Shamans have hots? And that its easier to play whack-a-mole than using hots well?
I'd choose a snare, something along the lines of Hamstring or Wing Clip, with a disc talent to make it root / stun for a few secs. If my fear is resisted / trinketed in PvP I'm pretty much toast.

I have to say, being shadow atm on my priest, the most annoying is melee class. WTB talent to make Mind Flay 100% undisruptable by damage taken. Worst thing ever when you have to keep recasting a channel just for 1 tick because your Mind Blast has a freakin' CD! That and drop the CD on Mind Blast. That's the stupidest thing ever! That's like making Frost Bolt and Fireball have a CD, or taking away the undisruptable nature of Arcane Missles. If we are going to be casters, we should get caster benefits.
Also, AOE dps for dps class please. Shadow AOE is a must. And a no CD AOE. I'm sure they would love to kick us in the shins with that one. Give us something re-castable and damaging. Nothing is worse then you getting a 3 mob pull and not being able to do anything about it cause you cant cast anything, and you can't AOE because that's a holy talent. Most areas actually have 3-4 mob pulls Blizz! Make it fair and give us something! Psychic Scream and a CD bubble aren't enough when the mob out ranks you. They come back for more before you can quite down one, and oh wait, there are 2 more now! =( lol

I think that the biggest problems with priests is just that there isn't a really good reason to roll one.
Rogues: stealth, stuns, single target dps
warrior: Great tanks, MS awesome in pvp
mage: extreme dps as fire, plus numerous ways of getting away from melee as frost (sheep, frost nova, blink, ice block) plus a pet
lock: amazing survivability as SL/SL, loads of pets etc
pala: Where to start? unkillable in pvp, wear plate, auras, buffs etc, crusader aura, never oom compared to priests, great "oh $%^&" abilities such as lay on hands etc etc
shaman: at low levels they get ghost wolf, they have totems etc
druid: great tanks, ez mode hot's, good dps as boomkin (boomkin aura etc).
so that leaves us. Well we get shadowform at 40, which is nice, and the mana regen in raids is also nice, but whatever you want to do there is a class that does it better, and usually with cooler abilities.
Holy
in pve we run out of mana quickly as spirit regen just doesn't work as intended.
in pvp as holy/disc we're ok, but still lack a snare

in raids there's no good reason to have more than one really.
in pvp we die far too easily. Fear is always resisted/trinketed/wotf'd out of, then shield is dispelled or goes down in 2 secs anyway, so we end up having just having to run and cast pom and renew, leaving us having to use more mana to shift back into shadowform, and hope that CD's end soon. we can't do much damage as dots get dispelled and our only instant damage spell harms us too, so we end up trying to cast MB which gets interrupted/kicked/counterspelled and MF is a waste of mana as you only get one tick while being interrupted anyway.
I really just want one ability that makes other classes jealous. At the moment, the coolest thing about being a priest is shadowform imo, and thats just because of the way it looks. Blizz maybe worry a bit too much about making a class OP. I think that if you made priests just as powerful as locks (not OP as they aren't nerfing locks) then everyone would whine that we're too OP and to nerf us.
I really don't think that we should have a pet to level with, as i don't want to be a lock but just have a few more abilities, making us more varied.

i understand, but druids have mass hots, pallys have HUGE single heals and shammys have chainheals.
we have an ok version of each one and it needs to say like that imo.

Ok. Healing priests need better mana regen, cheating the 5SR and chain chugging doesn't cut it. So, for the 51 pt holy talent there should be a spell that looks something like this.
For the next 20 seconds, each one of your heals will collect light energy. Each heal stores 500 light energy. You can save up to 4000 light energy. After this time, you gain a buff with the energy. You can release the energy for an insta-heal. This heal costs no mana. 2 minute cooldown.
This will help up because we can use this heal when we are in the middle of a regen period. Will help when Inner Focus is down. Now we have an instant heal, somewhat an "Oh $&!# Button", and a helpful regen spell if used right. Hopefully this could help us in longer fights. Also, making our heal a little bit more mana efficent would help, I mean we are suposed to be the best healing class in the game. Hopefully this helps and I would love to see it.
Just for grins and giggles ... one of the trinkets being introduced in 2.4 does exactly this. It's limited to 2000 pts, and takes a trinket slot, but it works. Ought to be fun.
As for me, my biggest problem is an aggro dump. Fade is ... tempermental. So, even having something similar to mage's Invisibility (a hit interrputed aggro fade followed by a removal from combat) called Divine Rescue, or some such would be good.
