His explanation?
The one that he already had, was getting low on durability, and he wanted another one, so that he wouldn't have to repair his weapon as often.
So far, i have not managed to see the healing mace drop again, nor have i heard such a stupid reason for needing on an item.
I hate, I mean, I seriously hate it when people give these excuses to roll.
That is the worst excuse to ninja I have ever seen. I hope you get your mace soon hisspookoo.

While I agree with you on some parts, you have to take into consideration that
He also stated he was the only pally in the guild, so heal gear would automatically pass to him. I agree that, if this wasn't the case, he had no right of needing on both without asking beforehand.
He also had to change glyphs, so that makes the double respec come out at a loss (12 glyphs are more expensive then 50g) - even if that was a viable argument, which imo it is
not
because he was begged to come as healer. I bet my main's gold he would've refused and just looked for a pug if he knew couldn't roll on the only item he actually needed.
They
both
rolled need, so it actually was an honest roll he won. This wasn't
stealing
, it was
winning
They're both guild tanks, so they both have the same amount of right to it, even if he was specced holy (and I can't stress this point enough)
only to help out the person that has now blacklisted him.
Now I've always been rather lucky with ninjas. I don't grant second chances to them, and most of the times I roll higher then them on the stuff I really need anyway. We have a greed/need server, almost no one passes, if there's an enchanter he just needs when he sees everyone else greeds. Works just as fine, and I've got to say I haven't even met alot of ninjas. And the more intelligent ninjas will try to bullsh!t themselves out of it.
There is this one time though, during an OS25 pug. Most of the loot went away honestly, but the LM kept saying she "lost who got the bag of spoils" (not everyone got riadroll so alot of /roll) and had to reroll. This happened about 6 times, after which she rolled a one (herself). That really made me feel disgusted. Why cloak stealing that bag up in so much charade? Like anyone is going to fall for that? And it's only 5 emblems and your repair costs refunded, whoopi-f#cking-doo

Goddamn, we did a Ramparts and ALL of the loot was not even ninja'd on, but also actually needed by at least 1 more person. The ninja
won everything
except for a belt.
Worst part was, we didn't even notice it (we went through the place like a steamroller) untill the last boss was down =(
And I needed 4of8 items for my tanking gear....
So far for my 'having luck with ninjas' -.-

Well i have to admit...I was once a ninja.
Well i was lvl 14 druid (balance) and in my first week of playing and its was Deadmines.
The loot was a Bind when equipped cape that gave:
14 armor (or so)
5 fire spell dmg
I (as the noob is were) red it as fire "Protection"
Needing and winning it infront of our firemage.
I tried to trade it to him but i had already equipped it so he saw it under "Will not be traded".
He thought that i was making a joke about im so he got really angry.
But thats not it: The fire mage was a friend of the healer so i had to heal myself for the rest of the run :( Tried to explin but i was /ignored.
If i could remember the mage name i would send him 50g and a /sry

post 3.0 I was Tanking in Kara and the ML was a good friend of mine in RL well the tanking ring droped on aran I rolled and got 1 I said well it didn't matter as I was the tank anyway. Well a shaman rolled on it. Hey if it was a druid I could believe it. But then my friend said he did get a higher score. And I sat there and explained he was a shaman. Well I didn't get the ring. We went to the next boss. A hunter was ^&*!ed as well so I went in and was about to pull netherspite when I whispered him and told him to MD the ML and pull. We would then drop group and leave. So we MDed and he pulled we let everyone enter combat and we droped group. They all died very quickly while we sat their and laughed then right as we was about to aggro the timer hit 0 and we got ported to shatt. My ex-friend then psted me saying a bunch of mean stuff I ignored him. So he called me and he asked me why I did that. I explained and then hung up. A month later I finaly un ignored him and we ran kara again. he was very carefull that time. I got pretty much anything I wanted.Selfish much?
Must agree, he sounds really not like a friend more than selfish &*!@#. Ifi would know him i would not raid with him ever again, even if he was my friend in rl.

I've been lucky and only have had two experiences with ninjas.
Both were on 25 man OS. The first ninja did rolls for the first item legitimately. Then he told everyone to roll for the second item. He did not give it to the winner and instead gave it to a friend. He then gave the rest of the items to himself.
This week's 25 man OS saw my pally/priest/warlock glove armor token drop, and I was excited to roll on it. The ML rolled everything legitimately except the glove armor token, giving it to his friend.
I despise ninjas. 25 man OS just isn't my raid, I guess. :\
