im finding this a very sexy raid DPS build
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=jfcMVhZG0xxIxdRGoV0st
+unholy presense
Glyph of Frost Strike
Glyph of Icy Touch
Glyph of Obliterate
i chose endless winter over icy reach. icy reach seems to be more of a pull and aoe snap agro than anything. if any reason the DK needs to root or silelnce an enemy, ice fever would at least minimize the dps lost on messing up skill cycle
Death rune mastery and blood of the north keep the cycle very solid and output is amazing. i have been told frost is for tanking, and i have been told frost is for single target damage. i see none of that to be honest. massive AOE is being tossed at the end spreading diseases with the usual pestilense combo, and capitalzing on howling blast, than 3 frost strike spam for siiiiick burst dmg
death runes are always there for a dependable obliterate, wich keeps a 80% crit rate.
merciless combat is perfect for raiding, 35% of a raid bosses health is quite longer than just trash, any little bit to beat enrage timers is gold.
often dps are asked to deal with their own trash, as MT an OT are stuck with more critical roles, hungering cold ftw,
and your whole grop and raid get 20% mellee dps just from having frost fever up? like i said.. enrage timers, help out a bit eh
i just thought i would share this build.
shortly after dinging 80 , still being in saronite, pretty undergeared, and wasnt impressed by blood/unholy. switched to this and no need for gear lol
Dude but what rotation u using for max DPS?

Ok my DK is still only level 59 so I'm not going to go into rotations and all that since I'm still trying to figure out what the hell is going on most of the time. It's definetly a lot different then my warlock.
So I wanted something for straight up PvE/PvP DPS. Here's what I came up with.

i'm using this build -
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=jfVMVZGzxxIxdRhRV0st
my rotation for bosses is
plasgue+icy touch+obliterate+frost strike+ 2x blood strike, it changes as the fight continues cause i use howling blast when km procs,
fir mobs i use
icy touch+plague strike+pestillence+deathchill (if not on cd) + howling blast + frost strike and i improvise after.

It seems that there are a lot of "look at my talent build" posts... after looking at a couple, I decided that maybe I can give you some insight into how to create a talent build, instead of trying to critique the ones that are posted.
First, you should decide what the purpose of your talent build is. Are you going to tank, dps, or PvP? Each of these roles has very different, often mutually incompatable goals. Decide first what you want to do, then figure out how to do that the best you can.
If you want to tank, your job has 2 parts: make sure the mobs are beating on you instead of someone squishy, and not be squishy. If you can buff the group/raid, do more dps, and provide utility without compromising those 2 objectives, then great, however, if you give up mitigation/avoidance talents to give yourself more raid utility, you don't have a tanking build, you have a utility build.
The core tanking talents that every single tanking build should have are blade barrier, toughness, and anticipation. If you don't have these, you have a utility/dps build, not a tanking build.
So every talent choice should come down to the question: Which talents that I can buy will give me more avoidance/mitigation/threat (with threat being last on the list by far)? if you have a choice between, for example, Vampiric Blood and Killing Machine, it is an obvious no-brainer which is a tanking talent and which is not.
For DPS, again, you have a job - do more damage. If you have a choice between Hysteria and Vampiric Blood, well, one causes more damage, and the other makes you easier to heal. If you chose to be DPS, you want the DPS talent.
If you choose PvP... well that's a whole different discussion.
If you choose to kinda do half tank half dps do everything kind of build, you will end up with a build that cannot effectively tank, and cannot effectively DPS... however, if that's what you want to achieve, then you will get what you paid (talent points) for.
Pick a role, then spend talent points on talents that help you in your chosen role. Don't get distracted by things that look pretty but are not part of the role you have chosen.

Did you really need to put all that stuff in your post? I think we know what talents do, just link a calculator.

My idea for a 3.1 tank build
http://ptr.wowhead.com/?talent=jcEho0hcoZZcgGh0bzghVofou
Blight is going to be a great aggro holder.
And this for dps
http://ptr.wowhead.com/?talent=jfV0VZGhexAbckf0V0st
or
http://ptr.wowhead.com/?talent=jfVMVZGxxhAbcofzVost
What do you all think?
