If Blizz were to put a new Spirit Beast out there, what kind of animal do you think it would be? What zone would it spawn in? Where within that zone?
Personally, I think it would be like the

, except purple, and spawn in the Emerald Dragonshrine, in Dragonblight.

why make a purple version of the same already-tamable beast?.
I was thinking similar, but with added effects. Sort of like how Skoll looks like a worg, but blue with lightning.

Uh...no offense, but why make that a spirit beast? That just doesn't make sense to me...plus, why make a purple version of the same already-tamable beast? Maybe it's 'cuase I'm not a hunter, but I don't get it.
Really thats all that Blizz has done with the Spirit Beasts so far. Loq was the most unique, in that he was a fairly unique cat skin. Gon was a "ghostly" purple tiger model, Skoll is a blue worg with lighting bolts, and the bear is a slightly larger blue "ghost" bear. They aren't making unique models for spirit beasts--just reskinning.
That said, I would imagine a bird is the next mostly likely target. Cats, wolves & bears are 3 of the most popular hunter pets, so it was natural to do them first. Birds aren't as popular, but they fit the theme--assuming you take "Spirit Beast" in sort of a Native American connotation.
That said, I am tired of the Spirit Beast always being a "cool" color. Loq has blue, Gon is purple, Skoll & the bear are blue.
I would love to see a fire-bird. Phoniex-like, but without the elaborate tail & all. A skytalon model, in semi-translucent gold, with firey red eyes, that leaves a trail of fire as it flys.
