[Blizzard Bug] Battle.net Character Profiles Broken - Affected Wowhead Tools

Edit: as of 9/7 Battle.net profiles update, but inconsistently. So the tools on Wowhead may not fully work just quite yet.
The Battle.net character profiles are not updating for Legion yet. This affects several tools on Wowhead that rely on that information such as:
Broken Isles flying progress
All Profiler collections - achievements, mounts, pets, toys, recipes
Character levels - everyone is stuck at 100
Importing your character's transmog into the Dressing Room
Quest progress for pinned characters
Blizzard has not provided an ETA when this will be fixed, but in the interim, we have a more advanced work around to get the following types of data tracked: appearances, toys, heirlooms, mounts, titles, achievements, projects, and followers. This does
not
include quests.
To set up this advanced system, you need to do two things: Verify your character and run the latest version of the Wowhead Client. This is the same system used to get your Toys, Heirlooms, Followers, and Ships to appear in the Profiler, so if you're seeing any of that info already, you're set!
To get set up, you will need to verify your character. This is a one-time process.
Log in to Wowhead
View your character
in the Profiler
Click on the Verify option on the header and follow the instructions. If you
log in via Battle.net
, this step will happen automatically.
Download and install the
Wowhead Client
From here, whenever you want to update your Profile, do the following:
Run the
Wowhead Client
Log in to your character in-game (with the Wowhead Looter addon running)
Exit WoW, and use the Wowhead Client to submit your data to Wowhead
Mounts, achievements, and titles will now be correctly tracked, which improves your general collecting information, places on Wowhead that display your info like Quick Facts and Charts if you Pinned your character, and contests running that require you to do in-game activities.(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##perculia##DELIM##

As of 9/7/2016, has the quest portion of this been fixed? Is that what your "edit" comment was about? I tried to update my pinned profile and it's not working for me. Thank you.

The edit portion refers to Blizzard updating the API for Legion characters; previously nothing worked. Quests should be working. You may have to refresh cache if you tried to load your character on Wowhead while this was broken.

What do you mean by "Refresh cache". I "Requeue'd" my character on here and quests still aren't showing, and just want to make sure that I am not skipping or missing something. Having quests available for checking the storyline quests for reputation for Legion would come in handy. I understand that this could just still be a Blizzard issue not a Wowhead issue, but want to verify that that is what you meant.

You need to clear your
web cache
sometimes when the site undergoes a major update. Just visiting the page again will not show updates.
If the quests still do not load, then this is again a Battle.net issue where, after a brief period of working, their API is down again.

nope they've definitely not fixed it. I'm stuck at 108 according to armoury, and the gear is all off as well.

Nothing you, or we, can do about this right now... we're all just waiting on Blizzard to finish getting the armory up and running.

Only response they gave on forums is that the team is working on it. API works but it returns outdated data and don't see some toons. I'd say they probably left the API serve data from old database while new isn't ready yet. Shame there's no word on when or if it's going to work again.

Now that I found this I know why even my page on WoW won't update. Thanks for this information. I look forward to the time when my toons will once again update.

FYI it sort of works now. I have no idea what is happening but my characters are slowly coming up and getting updated. I'm still missing few and API still returns 404 for them, so god knows what is going on.
