Its a tanking tree focusing on melee opponents. To have a little magic blocker I took the blood talent reducing magic damage by 30% with a proc chance like your parry rating. Also I focused on Frost Strike. Does by any chance someone no, what Obliterate does?
I missed some interesting talents though, like constant 10% more armor, but there are almost no perfect trees ;) The best about this tree: Switch to blood aura and you probably farm great using Frost Strike and Icy Touch as main attacks. And for AoE tanking you use Hungering Cold followed by Howling Blast with activated Deathchill. Enough aggro to bomb them easily away, I think.

in the DK i am going unholy :D
but seeing the other classes' talent trees i am feeling the new moves are getting out of hand... cats get shadowstep bears become big red
shamans have thunder/.. knocking back oppnents a 100 yards or echancment have spirit wolves
and many many many others... its just seems too much
unless they give hunters somthing awsome then i'd shut up

I don't claim to be a tanking expert (still learning) but why did you choose Black Ice over Toughness?

First the most apparent reason: 10% more threat is more valuable imo.
Why not 10% more armor? We have a lot of procs and abilities giving us armor like probably the Frost presence giving us +45% armor. We can reduce the attackers attack speed with ability and proc. I think the protection against melee is strong enough. Just take a current tank, strip him of his shield and add +45% armor. I think the DK will be on par with the tank.
The most obvious cause for not taking it is obviously not having enough points ;P

frost aura might not be bad with bladed armor which increases atk pwr by 25 for every 1000 point of armor
Frost Aura != Frost leveling. I for example will probably level in Frost but will most likely use the Blood Presence. I mean 15% more damage is something any spec will favor when fighting brainless trash mobs.
