Royal Quarter and Pet Battles

I am wondering how many others ran into a problem trying to do pet battles in the Royal Quarter. Always seems I run into the same problem of Battle Area Obstructed error, in the Royal Quarter Room itself. The passageway LEADING to the Royal Quarter is not a problem at all, but I always run into this obstruction error every time I hang out with Sylvanas and attempt pet battles.
If anyone out there has a solution, other than the magic trick of interact with object keybind, I sure would appreciate it. Even this trick does not seem to help at all.

As far as I observed, it's mostly about your own position, not that of the wild pet, you seem to need a "corridor" in front of you and maybe a little bit behind you, too.

*nods* I have taken a toon into the Royal Quarter, ran around, moved slowly, forwards backwards, side to side, even gone as far as to time things when the wild pet is in the middle of the area he/she is walking around, and still no go. However it seems you (Nulgar) have had successful battles in this area? If so, are you zoomed in? Standing in the middle of the 'corridor' that you are talking about?
Anyone else out there (who have successfully pet battled in the Royal Quarter) have tips they can share?

No, I meant my general observation with "obstructed" pet battle areas :) Didn't get around to test the Royal Quarter yet, maybe I'll find time tonight.

Sorry that I have to doublepost, but yes, I found no way to initiate pet battles in the Royal Quarter as well.

I am just glad I am not the only one experiencing this problem. Quite frustrating too, as I hate killing pets just so that they will spawn elsewhere.

The best strategy I have found to prevent the Undercity rats from spawning in the Royal Quarter in the round throne room where Sylvanas is at, is killing the spawns that are there, until there is nothing but maggots and roaches. By doing that, it prevents the undercity rat from spawning there. Granted this leaves four battle pets up down in this area, but at least you know you are not killing off potiential blues anymore.
