I'm fairly surprised you put Druids near the bottom. Granted I'm only doing hc's atm but between my savage defence, frenzied regen. & barkskin I feel like I take almost no damage

All things being equal (gear, gemming / reforging, and skill), all tanks seem about the same to me. What stands out, is that a DK can pretty much (it seems), throw on any 'ol plate armor they find laying around, mash face on keyboard, and as long as they hit their Death Strike at the right time, be easy as hell to heal. Pally's, on the other hand, have to be geared just right, and balance threat, mitigation, and self-heals, all with exact precision to achieve the same results.

Except for the grand ole hay days that fell between 4.0 and Cata dropping, pallies pretty much have been the twitchiest of tanking spec about balancing mitigation. Yeah, during Cata we just stacked mastery, but we still had to keep parry and dodge even or we to massive damage spikes...unlike most other tanking specs.

DK's are pretty crazy indeed. When I am healing my guildy DK, it feels like he loses a lot less hp than I do when I am tanking with my Monk.
I mostly tank myself, or heal with my DK friend as a tank, so I do not have much experience with other tanks... but I have had the chance to meet some decent warriors, paladins and druids (once or twice), who didn't really take much damage. Never seen a Monk tank as a healer.
