Roth'Aldielas/Najiita/Kisaeva
Stormwind
Rotha flopped her tail, "Well perhaps we're both boring."
Kisaeva nodded sagely, "Mmmhm. Though you have to do something to get it."

Characters:
Pyre, Dr.Prometheus, D79
Location:
Airship
The doctor hummed at the instructions from the door. He leaned back a little more into his chair, hands crossed upon his lap. He looked down at the pills set in several small cups set upon a small metal tray before him, dislike curling his lip. One for his heart, one for his blood pressure, two were pain killers of some sort...he paused and plucked up a blue one, raising it to the light. He had no idea what that one even did.
"For your memory, majesty," D79 intoned from beside him.
"Ah, yes. Right. Thank you," he informed the soldier. "And, this one?"
"That would likely be poison."
"Always at least one," Prometheus said, flicking the pill away. "Lacking of some subtlety, though. Well, bottoms up." The doctor picked up and swallowed each cup, occasionally swallowing some water along with them to help them down. The geriatric man slowly pushed himself out of the chair, cracking his back with a grunt.
"Mmm...Right. Best get to it then. Much to do, and so little time left to do it with." With a motion of his gauntleted hand, Dr.Prometheus made his way out of the room, Pyre instantly falling into step behind him. Climbing the stairs to the upper decks, his goggles flashed in the light as he pushed his way through the doors to the top of the ship.

Lord Rivendare
Location: Airship
"How goes the operation in Quel'thalas?" Lord Rivendare asked the floating ball of arcane energy above his hand.
"Da elf already 'as completed 'er task," Fal'uci's accent replied. "She be makin' her way back inta da depths of Evahsong ta be brough' bak. Da vial already be 'ere."
"Excellent, make sure nothing happens to it. We'll speak more when I return." The orb shimmered. "Voyd, Swordsman, make your way to where they're holding the Gilnean hostages. We'll need to waste no time in moving them once I have finished my talk with the Doctor."
"Yes, sir," Voyd replied, and the death knight let the orb dissapate. He rolled his shoulders, pulling his arms back into the inside of his curtain-like black cloak and crossing them behind his back as he waited, looking down upon Tirisfal and the Plaguelands. Such a stark contrast between the two, but one that wouldn't last for much longer...

"You know, this was uncalled for," Isaac grumbled as he slumped onto the chair. "You could have just told me to go along. In my current predicament, it is not like I have much choice other than to comply."
"Phaw!" Vincent snorted. "Next thing you're saying we should expect everyone to have common sense. And it's not like we ourselves- Hey, your skin is gray, you know that?"
Isaac raised an eyebrow, "You don't say?"
"I very much do. And not like 'his skin was gray with terror', you're literally ashen! There's a mirror behind me in case you haven't noticed," Vincent jabbed his thumb over his shoulder. He rolled his shoulders and strolled towards the boy, removing a heavy gauntlet from his right arm.
"Thank you, I would never have-" Isaac began, eying the swordsman. He did not finish, though, being interrupted quite rudely; with all his strength, the man backhanded him across the face, sending the boy down on the floor along with the chair.
"If I were you, I'd drop the smartass attitude, kiddo," Vincent said softly, pulling Isaac back into an upright position. "You tried to hurt my buddy Specter," he nodded in the direction of the (presumably) dozing elf and added, "I don't like people trying to hurt my buddies - and never mind you had a snowball's chance in a volcano."
Isaac glared at him angrily; the boy's right cheek was swelling swiftly, and with the blow splitting his lip, blood was dripping down his cheek. He opened his mouth to say something when Vincent, after something had caught his attention, grabbed the boy's knitted woolen cap and pulled it off.
"Okay, I am officially confused," the deranged swordsman announced, staring at two long horns sprouting out of Isaac's forehead and curving backwards. "Serenade, Varima, any idea what this creature is?"
Character
: John William Cassidy, Pseudolocal
Location
: Uldis
"Well," Cassidy managed to say before the jolt went up his legs and to his head, "Crap."
The mercenary's limbs twisted in angles human body was never supposed to, and his head made several rapid three-sixty turns. He stood still for several moments after the seizures stopped shaking him, aside from a little swaying. Then, moving as if he were sleepwalking, the bounty hunter grabbed his wide-brimmed hat of black leather and shoved it into one of his numerous pockets, replacing it with a flat straw hat decorated with a wide red ribbon. Out of his coat he pulled out a banjo and began singing - surprisingly enough, his voice no longed sounded hoarse and raspy, nor did he need to pause every few words - that is, if he ever had needed to do so in the first place.
"
♪Diner, my shiny shiny love,
In the night you're all I'm thinking of,
Diner my shiny shiny love,
The cruiser pulls in where the trooper's always stop,
As we dine over the chrome and formica table top,
The cashier, she always squints,
By the gum and the bowl of mints,
She's tapping her toe...♪
"
Pseudolocal began showering the singing merc with his knife-like flechettes, but somehow, as Cassidy tap-danced, he quite literally squirmed out of the serrated blades' reach, remaining unharmed all the while he was slowly moving towards the exit.
Character
: Turinhil Dawnchaser

"Try to leave him in walking condition," Turin told Selin. He meant it for her, too, not for the doctor, but he did not bother lowering his voice, so if Pyrus was trying to listen - and for some reason, Turin expected him too - he probably would have heard that remark. Even though Turin was not entirely sure about his opinion on his situation, it was Selin's little brother they were talking about; as such, the Blood Knight left the matter in her hands, however heavy they might prove to be any second now.
NPC
: Duke Edward Tauferson, Prince Theraldis
Location
: Elwynn
"I'm telling you!" one of the nobles - a tall, lean fellow costumed as a Scourgelord - declared once again, swaying on his feet ever so slightly. He had been one of perhaps two dozen or so to have been taking his peers to the adjacent rooms; he had spent perhaps less than ten minutes mingling after his most recent return. "I'm Baron Sandor of House Maravin, and just as I know everyone gathered here, everyone gathered here has heard of me!"
"Well, they certainly have, now," a broad-shouldered High Cultist snorted. A pleasantly plump Blood Mage whose waist had his arm wrapped around giggled, "How about that lady necromancer behind you?"
"Hm?" Sandor Maravin spun around, all but bumping into Isilver.
"Burn my soul, I stand corrected," he drawled in a pleasant, lilting accent as he made a leg. Though it was hard to determine behind the heavy helmet - and this close, Isilver was bound to see his armor was the real deal, not the lightweight props - odds were he was not inebriated in the slightest.

Location

Selindera cracked her knuckles, "That's a tall order," she replied, taking a few steps towards Pyrus before the doctor suddenly stood up and turned towards the trio, holding up a hand. Out of a degree of masked shock, the female paladin halted her advance.
"I know, I know, you're upset," Pyrus stated, taking a glance over at Marcin, "glad to see you're already up and walking, by the way," he then looked back at Selindera, "but it was a safety precaution. You don't get materials like this by talking to the most legitimate personnel. With Marcin's relative infamy I had a feeling something like this might occur."
"And you still brought him out here!" Selindera protested.
"What did you expect me to do?" the doctor exclaimed in response. "Leave him behind to wallow?"
To that, Selin actually had no response. The Blood Knight shut her mouth and pursed it into a hard line. Marcin was keeping to himself until this moment, where he took careful (somewhat unsteady) steps towards the crate, "So what did we get?"
"Glad you asked," Pyrus skipped straight into a different discussion, kneeling down and carefully undoing the metal box. After flipping the lid, a number of maroon colored ingots were revealed, stacked on one side, while the other had a number of shimmering, somewhat purple tinged silver ingots. The latter stack appeared to shimmer under the light, as if there was something beneath the surface of the metal. "Pure Khorium and Elementium, enough to last us for a long time."

Quite fortunately for Sindry, the jolt had already dissipated and she did not get shocked. Moreover, the shake she gave Cassidy was apparently enough for him to come to his senses - either that, or the effect of the jolt had worn off, and not a moment too soon. He let out an angry growl, hurtling the banjo away disgustedly. Spinning rapidly, the instrument met with yet another salvo loosed by Pseudolocal - and exploded, quite violently and producing a large amount of viscous smoke.
"Let us never speak of this," Cassidy croaked, his voice back to what it used to bed, and hurried out.

"Why, Doc, this crate looks heavy for you alone to handle," Turin said cheerfully; when he wanted, he could keep venom from his voice and sound sincerely amiable. "Then again, you knew that Selin and I need to have our hands free in case someone jumps us again and Marc here cannot exert himself, so you surely have prepared some sort of a featherweight spell."

"Oh, but where are my manners," the Baron hurriedly pulled the helmet off his head and fastened it to his girdle. Somehow, an elaborate hairdo underneath seemed to be untouched - more than that, it positively looked larger than what could have fit inside the headgear, and it left not a single square inch of his ears to be seen. In the Baron's eyes were two opaque black lenses, and his skin was deathly pallid. Other than that, though, he was a decidedly handsome young man, if only a touch leaner than it was exactly healthy, and certainly normal for a human.
"Baron Sandor Maravin," the noble bowed again, "A pleasure to make acquaintance with you, lady?.."

"I got this crate here in the first place, didn't I?" Pyrus said, seeming to catch on to the implications of Turinhil's statement. He snorted to himself, reaching down and grabbing the handle on the side of the lid. With some obvious effort (and a lot of strain that made Selindera laugh--inside) the doctor pulled the crate out of the hospital. Outside, there was a small lifting cart that he proceeded to drag it onto. "For some reason they wouldn't let me take the cart inside, but oh well. Getting back to Silvermoon will be easier than getting here, they have sanctioned one-way portals in the capital."
"Convenient," Selindera mentioned.

"Agreed. Now come on! Let's...do you two hear that?" Leo asked, a low groan of metal reaching his ears. All along the hall, the heads of the statues slowly rotated, affixing them with glowing red eyes of ill intent. Leo's face fell, his glasses slipping slightly down. Sindry's expression grew even sourer. And Byte kept dancing atop his masters head to a tune all his own. Most likely going something like umph, umph, umph, ooooh yeahahah. But that's just speculation.
