Loss of stat stick questions...

Our loss of stat stick bring up a BIG question I have, Ie;
Are we going to be able to enchant our ranged weapon(s) to reflect loss of enchant(s) that are a "MUST" for pvp, and also to reflect loss of stats that the enchant(s) bring.
Also the cool visual effects that are lost from not having enchants.
Scopes do NOT make up the loss of the most used enchants nor the needed enchants used in pvp.
Chains are a must for pvp, more so in Mop than ever before.
130 agility is nothing to sneeze at....
What I suggest is adding quivers to off-hand slot that have their own secondary stats, and allow enchanting them to include visual effects on the ammo as we shoot them...

Ranged weapons are now 2-handers, and itemized as such - remember everyone else also lost the ranged slot, so no stat disparity there.
I haven't tried it, but I do believe you can put weapon chains on your 2-hander, though you can, of course, only enchant it once.
As for the loss of 130 agi, thats not a problem - again everyone lost a slot, so stat levels are going down all round.
As for the scopes, they more than make up for a low static boost that we've been forced to endure for at least the last 2 expansions (I honestly can't remember how the enchants were for hunters in BC or vanilla - mainly because I only levelled a hunter up late BC without raiding in mind.

Nooska is right, stats will be more or less the same as they are now and you can enchant your ranged weapon with a chain if you need to. Myself, I'm perfectly happy getting rid of a useless piece of gear and letting us attack properly in the hit box while having to stack for mechanics. The dps didn't double because of losing statsticks, it doubled because weapondamage scaling was halved in the very early parts of teh beta.
Now what you should notice is that the live version has 182 agi and 247 stam. The beta version has 581 agi and 871 stam.

Now the weapon chain is able to be put on hunter's weapons, what about the other enchants, and does the effect from the chain stack with scopes like it did when we had the stat stick?
What about the cool visual effect(s) that you get from the enchants?
Can they be put on our ranged shot/bolt/arrow when we fire or weapons?

Yu can only put 1 enchant on your weapon - same as everyone else, so no, you cannot both scope and chain your weapon, as thats 2 enchant effects (like I said in my first reply).
As myself and others have already said, the bows itemization will reflect the loss of stats from losing a 2'hander in addition to the ranged, but only insofar as the bow/gun/whatever gets itemized as if it is a 2hander itself - we do not lose any stats from this as all other classses also lose the ranged slots stats.
As to cool visual enchants, I ahven't tried, but I don't see why they wouldn't work on th ebow, its "just" a particle effect around the model, I do not believe that it is coded seperately for all weapons made, and the ranged weapon is now a 2hander, so it would work like a 2hander in all other respects as well.

Well, then you are missing the whole point.....
The itemization is for the WEAPON loss only, it does not include the enchants, nor does it include gems(s)"not checked"
PRE MOP, the chain effect STACKED with the Scope effect on our ranged attacks.....
NOW with NO stat stick, will the chain enchant stack or REPLACE the scope.
If it REPLACES, we are getting screwed.
If it Replaces we loose that amount of DPS the scope would give us, hence I would call it a NERF.
Iif it stacks like it SHOULD, then I would call it fair giving us the same amount of enchant equality we had before mop....
Also the weapon chain(s) of all levels, should be changed to work on all ranged weapons...
If we do not say something NOW, then we are in that much worse shape, just like we were in the beginning of cata...

I have said this before in a couple of threads but you CANT look at one change in isolation - you have to look at the ENTIRE balance of the class. We have quite a few new abilities that MORE than make up for the loss of one enchant .
Also remember thats what a " must have " in cata may be totally useless in MoP

Since evryone else is getting the same "nerfs" (really, they are not, they are simply changes), and our abilities are being balanced around that, its not a problem - at all, unless you want it to be.
The stats lost from other enchants ARE GONE FROM EVERYONE ELSE TOO - sorry about the caps, but you keep overlooking that part.
On th other hand we are getting the removal of min range, which is something that increases out pvp power and viability even more than the bonus to PvEing (where it is merely a quality of life improvement)
And you claims of "should stack" are simply misguided - all other classes have always had to chose between what enchants to use, what hunters are loosing is a stright up bonus the other classes didn't have, as our main weapon wasn't the one in the mainhand slot, where the pvp things go, but the one in the ranged slot, which had no pvp enchant.
And;
NOW with NO stat stick, will the chain enchant stack or REPLACE the scope.
For the FIFTH or SIXTH time in this thread - You can ONLY have ONE enchant on a piece of equipment - THIS IS NOT NEW.

Same topic but different question. Since we're loosing our stat stick next tuesday do we need to vendor it monday night? Or will it be auto vendor'd or just put in our bags? Obviously not a huge impact but I'd rather have the gold than not and I don't usually play on monday's. Just wanted to know if I need to pre-plan anything for this change up next week.

We keep it, we can equip it if we want to, we just can't attack with it.
