Hunters and Shadow Priests in 2s?

Coming back after a long forced break. How are things going for hunters and shadow priests in 2s? Not necessarily together, just I'd like to have a real main like I did before, as compared to having 3-4 crappy geared 85s like I did all throughout Cata.

In 2s? Mediocre. Strongest comp atm is arguably Disc/Feral. Anything else doesn't have enough cc+burst+healing to reach the top of the ladders (like it matter anyways, no title rewards from 2s bracket).
Neither class/spec will trap you below 1.5k though, so have fun regardless.

I'd argue Mage/Disc is as strong as Feral/Disc and which one is better really just depends on what else your ladder sees a lot of in term of meta-gaming.

In 2's, one can get to fairly high ratings with rather strange comps, but most popular comps are probably disc-frost mage and resto shaman-warlock. There are lots of good comps, though.
For Hunters, I'd probably go with retri pala or a rogue, perhaps a feral. All of those support Hunters fairly well.
For spriest, I'd recommend a healer, maybe a resto druid. If you want to go double dps, then maybe a ret, or a fire mage, or a rogue (those guys fit with EVERYTHING).
You can just go all nuts, and have a blast with other comps too, but you should really pick a comp that suits your playstyle. I've seen 2k+ rocked with spriest-arcane mage, though I wouldn't go for that myself :PP
