[Errors] Edit Boxes

This has been something that's been happening for the past little while, but I took special notice of it yesterday: whenever an edit box is opened, if you accidentally hit the edit box again, or if you're editing multiple posts in the same thread, sometimes it will simply eat the edits and won't change anything.
This is HIGHLY annoying when updating the Faces thread, since there's a lot of links I'm moving over and it can be hard to tell if something was added in or not.
Would it be possible to have someone take a look at this?
Thanks!

Is there any word on this?

When you mentioned this initially I tried to reproduce it with no luck so I didn't respond leaving it for someone else.

I'd also like to note that you can open as many edit boxes as you feel like, now. Look at the scrollbar in this
screenshot.

Yeah, I can confirm that it happens (but I can't comment on a possible fix).
With big threads like your
Faces
one it's probably worth keeping a copy in a text file and perhaps even working only on the text file and then copying it into WH once happy. Or you could make a guide and use that to do all edits (since it has a live preview).

Ahh, I see what it is you're saying. I unfortunately don't have any idea how to fix that either other than doing as asakawa suggested with the Notepad or some other text editing program.

Hmm, I guess so. Thanks for the tips, guys!
I'll definitely be making a text file in something OTHER than Word because Word loathes me.

I know what your going through, that edit box thing can be a bit of a annoyance when you are trying to toggle between preview and edit, and scrolling to see your changes.
When I'm doing long edit like that, I just copy the whole code, and then past it in a new reply, or a new post. That way I get both a code box at the top of the page, and a live preview at the bottom.
Cheers,
Hat

Ugh yeah, never use Word for plain text, use Notepad or Wordpad, or some other editor, some might even support the BBcode format (colored tags, maybe even a syntax checker)

I made a small text editor that supports (Wowhead) BBCode but it's too buggy to share and I've lost enthusiasm to fix it all >.< .
The neat thing was that I got it to autoupdate a guide textbox to give instant previewing while still using the text editor.
