CTC Cap on a Night Elf

Question is this:
When calculating CTC cap on a Night Elf does their racial equal a 7% chance to miss as opposed to the static 5% for other characters?

The 2% chance to not be hit is not the same as dodging an attack, so all in all, a Nelf playing a Prot Warrior is pretty win. That's 2% you don't have to reforge/enchant/gem for and 2% sooner that you can get reforge/enchant/gem for threat, or gem for extra stam. They're perhaps THE best class to specifically play as a Prot Warrawr, imo.

No, threat. Damage is redundant, as you gain Vengeance to add AP. Sure, it's great for hitting hard, but if you miss/get dodged constantly as a Prot Warrior, it will really show on threat. I've died many times due to the tank being unable to pick up threat when all I've done in charge and Mortal Strike.

Threat is non issue since Vengeance system and threat boost.
You died due to:
-tank being an idiot (can taunt off gcd on the pull)
-other classes being idiots (not using md)

Still can taunt - its ranged. Only has issues on imovable targets that ignore everything outside melee range (tentacles on spine, although these have crazy high hit box).

Actually, I wait a full 2 seconds before pressing charge, getting in close, then MSing. As Zakkhar has pointed out, they have a taunt, they have threat reductions, and high-threat abilities that aren't resource-starving. IMO, Prot Warriors need better snap threat. I keep snagging it and usually end up tanking the floor for it. :'(
