Toying around with a druid legendary.

Just to start off, this topic / thread is for the idea of a Feral (or soon to be Feral / Guardian) legendary for druids. We've all wanted one, we've all begged for one, and besides Sulfuras (which could qualify? possibly?) there hasn't been one. Balance druids were able to get the staff from Firelands, Restro druids were able to get the hammer from Ulduar, Feral has not seen much love in the legendary compartment since... well forever. Anyways, onto my point. With the legendary Rogue daggers being out and the biggest thing (Grats to you guys by the way), it got me hoping and dreaming that Feral might actually get some love this next expansion, after Monks and Panda's aren't the hot topic of the time, and after Blizzard does their tanking legendary (as some rumors have been saying). I went on a site called wowitemcreator.com and made myself a possible format for the legendary.
The staff.
Now, there are a lot of things subject to filtering through with Blizzard, and the name is something I came up with on the spot. The first thing subject to change would be the on chance effect. I would rather it change from either damage increased to damage taken decreased based on your current spec. So if you have 2 Feral specs, one for tanking one for DPS'ing, it wouldn't be to overpowered (I'm looking at you PvP Feral druids), and it would last for 20 seconds (there wasn't enough room on the site for me to slip that in, but it would be a timed effect.) The critical strike and mastery ratings are outrageous because I really don't know how big or small gear will actually scale come Mists. The empowered flight form could be used for something along the lines of us going Malfurion, with wings appearing under our arms and flying around (although the creation of the character animation for that would be extremely hard to make and would most likely come out very silly.) We could also through some haste or another stat in, depending on how Blizzard decides to tweak with our stats.
Another thing is, with Cata coming to a close, and this being the closest times we've been in touch with the Druids for some time, I doubt how Blizzard could place this into the lore point of view for the next expansion. I mean, how is killing Garrosh going to give Feral druids a legendary? Rogues killing Deathwing for daggers didn't make sense until I saw the quest line unfold, and I'm hoping that Druids get the same. Also, with Hunter's melee weapons being taken out of the game (this could be a very nice.... dare I say it... Hunter weapon) our chances are even smaller since it would be for one class and two specs only.
Anyways, what do you guys think of it? How would you guys make changes or try to convince Blizzard to give it to us? :P

I hate the idea of legendaries as OP items passionately. It is a stupid design decision from Blizzard to keep putting them in; in my opinion. I am fine with no legendary weapons for druids. I would never try to convince Blizzard to give us anything of the sort.

I love legendaries, but they need to provide them to more variety or classes, whether it be 2 or 3 class specific legendaries an expac or even 2 or 3 multi class ones an expac. they are a great thing, but they really cause a problem with people feeling left out. What i really wish they would do is a questline that anyone can do and in the end a different weapon can be made for everyone. spell casters get a staff, there is a str 2h a 1h for tanks, 1h for frost dks, a polearm, a bow, daggers, etc. in case i missed any. This means not as many people are left out, and it really can be made to make sense lorewise. The questline and such to get it should be a huge pain in the ass, and make it so maybe guilds still have to decide who is going to get the legendary, but at least anyone can get it.
On with your idea though, remember monks will be using agi staves as well so instead of hunters us ferals will now have to compete with dps and tank monks. Unlike rogues where really rogues are the only ones using agi daggers, yes enhance use them but i dont think they use daggers, pretty sure they use 1h axes and stuff, there will be another class that can use it, so i don't know if they would make it a druid only or make it a shared legendary, more than likely i would say make it a shared legendary, because like i said there needs to be a bit of a variety of people than can get it and use it.

little note vortiger, hunters will not have meelee weapons in panderia, they are removing the ranged slot, and making ranged weapons two handers, so there will not be moves using agi staves.... unless they are really bad.....

I have to side with Thror on this. The Ledgendary in general, feels too advantages and are inherently designed to make PVE unbalanced, because it's required to be BIS by a large margin.
But I would sure love more weapons with cool aesthetic effects like the flame cat staff of staghelm. Maybe another elemental cat form in addition to fire, but then it might feel rehashed.OH MAN, imagine if they added a staff that allowed us to turn into a look alike of that white tiger guy the wind walker monks seem to be worshiping in MOP. That would make my day.
I sort of understand why some major things like turning into a flying dragon mount might be limited to a ledgandary, but something close can be placed on a hard to obtain epic.
